Cajun Seafood Mix

This is the go to for the pot luck or festive get together meal. Has a mix of

  • 2 lemons

  • 2 lbs. of shrimp

  • 3 ears of sweet white corn

  • 1 lbs. of clams

  • 1 package of sausage

  • 1 Cajun sauce

  1. Clean shrimp, quarter corn, slice sausage.

  2. Boil water, cut lemons, squeeze the juice, and also put rinds into the boiling water.

  3. Place the shrimp into boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes in groups (do not overcook). Repeat for the clams, sausage, and corn.

  4. In the another pot, heat sauce on medium in a big enough pan so that can mix all the ingredients easily.

  5. Drain the shrimp/clam/sausage/corn and place into the sauce. Mix and let the shrimp/clam/sausage/corn cook completely.

  6. If you need more sauce, use the water you used to boil the shrimp/clam/sausage/corn to add to the sauce.

Cajun Crab and Sausage

This is basically the same as the Cajun Seafood Mix but focused on the crab and sausage.

  • 1 crab

  • 2 packages of sausage

  • 1 Cajun sauce

  1. Clean and chop crab, slice sausage. Boil water, quarter the lemons, squeeze the juice, and also put rinds into the boiling water.

  2. Place the crab into boiling water for 5 minutes in groups (do not overcook). Repeat for sausage, but only needs a couple of mins to cook.

  3. Heat sauce on medium in a big enough pan so that can mix all the ingredients easily.

  4. Drain the crab and place into the sauce. Mix and let it let the crab and sausage/corn cook completely.

  5. If you need more sauce, use the water you used to boil the crab and sausage to add to the sauce.
